A candle provides light and hope. On Christmas Eve 1981, President Ronald Reagan asked all Americans to put a candle in their windows to show solidarity with the people of Poland in their fight for independence from the USSR. This small gesture gave hope to the Polish people and struck fear in the minds of the Soviet Union leaders. The candle, a source, and symbol of light, made it clear that the inhabitants of the households that presented them were aware of the atrocities inflicted upon the Polish people and that they stood with them in prayer, financial support, or in any other way they were able. Many in Poland still remember and cherish this American gesture and give it credit for aiding them in gaining independence.
Today, we ask that all freedom-loving people put a candle in their windows, a symbol of light and hope for restoring the principles and promises that the American Declaration of Independence stood for. It is intended to strike fear in the minds of the Progressive and Globalist Elites who wish to enrich their wealth and power by eroding and or eliminating our freedoms under the pretense that it is necessary to save the planet. The candle is an outward physical sign that we see their deception, we reject their man-made conclusions about global warming, and we refuse to surrender our freedoms and property rights. The candle is a symbol of our resolve. Our commitment to preserve this thing called freedom and our great nation.
